It’s funny, I just had this idea when sitting down to an end-of-the-year celebration potluck recently. There were some great desserts there and I was thinking how it would be cool to have a dessert tasting fundraiser. Something different AND delicious.
Then today I check out some dessert news and find a story about a Dessert Buffet that’s going to help build a well in Peru. There is a village there that doesn’t have clean fresh water for it’s people. A woman named Cathy Sherrard began a campaign called “Believe It. Achieve It. Let’s Dig a Well” and is running a Dessert Buffet to raise money for the project to bring clean drinking water to this village in Peru.
Tickets for this All You Can Eat Dessert Buffet are only $5 - what a great deal for all the dessert you could possibly want.
