No Bake Dessert: Cereal Cookies

This quick cereal cookie recipe is quite popular.  These cookies do not require baking, but they do require cooking.

Here’s what you need:

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of krispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1 cupt of white corn syrup

Directions

As you will see.  No baking is necessary, but you do have to combine the sugar and syrup in a pot and bring it to a boil.

Add peanut butter and stir well

Remove from heat

Add your krispy rice cereal to the mix

Spread/pat into a 9 x 13 pan

You may also top it with a topping or frosting of your choice for added flavor and sweetness!

Modifications: try Cheerios instead of krispies - cut cereal cookies into shapes after forming with pan
